The Financial Controller is a key member of the Executive Leadership Team.
The Control provides financial leadership and is responsible for the direct oversight of the financial, accounting, and payroll functions of Harlow’s.
As Controller, you will be responsible for leading special projects, preparing, and analyzing monthly financial statements, leading the annual audit process, integrating new acquisitions, assessing, and improving governance and controls, treasury management, and overseeing the monthly/quarterly/annual close.

*Essential Functions Statement (s)*
· Utilize QuickBooks Online Advanced, Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat PRO, and Outlook to perform duties and responsibilities, with intermediate level of proficiency.
· Controller oversees and manages the day-to-day workflow of the accounting department with 6+ team members, maintaining accounting principles, internal controls and reporting and payroll.
· Ensure the company has systems and overall business processes that will improve the effectiveness of the entire organization.
· Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization’s operations.
· Strategize with the Sr.
Vince President and members of the Sr.
Leadership Team
· Responsible for AP, AR, journal entries and billing issues to identify resolutions.
· Bring new ideas, best practices and creative perspectives to the team to drive efficiency, improvements and impacts to the bottom line.
· Maintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures; implements a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk.
· Oversees the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards.
· Manager all bank accounts and cash balances.
· Recommend benchmarks that will be used to measure the company’s performance.
· Produces the annual budget and forecasts; reports significant budget differences to management.
· Provides financial analysis, with emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.
· Works with external auditors and provides needed information for the annual audit.
· Files quarterly and annual reports with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
· Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.
· Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
· Oversees training programs and identifies training needs.
*POSITION QUALIFICATIONS*
*Education:* Requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or other related field with ten years of experience, OR Master’s Degree with five years of experience.

· Proficient in accounting and tax preparation software.

Pay: $85,000.
