General Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for the supervision of Stage 3 Separation's solids control services.
As a member of the Management team, the Solids Control Supervisor is responsible for the group’s operations as well as the health and safety of all employees engaged in the department’s activities.
The supervisor must have a “hands on” approach to all jobs classified within the group’s purview.
The supervisor is expected to lead by example and positively represent the company to employees, customers, industry partners, and governmental authorities.
The supervisor must be available to be contacted after hours and on weekends when on call.
General equipment maintenance and pump repair experience preferred.
This position reports to the Branch Manager.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Identification and development of opportunities for growth in the market through coordination with the Sales Team as well
as direct customer/potential customer engagement
-Development and maintenance of standard operating procedures for department
-Development of employee training specific to department
-Coordination with Branch and Senior Management to ensure effective utilization of current equipment fleet
-Identifying immediate and longer term personnel and equipment requirements
-Making recommendations to Branch Manager for matters related to departmental personnel including, hiring, terminations,
disciplinary matters, training, and merit increases.
-Completing competency assessments on departmental personnel
-Conducting hiring interviews
-Performing regular job site and company yard inspections to ensure work is being executed according to specification and
equipment is being properly maintained.
-Providing on-the-job training and coaching to employees to ensure company standards are consistently being met
-Providing field-level supervision of jobs:
-Overseeing all aspects of site and staff preparation and operations
-Handle crew concerns
-Testing fluids to ensure proper separation
-Optimizing fluid processes
-Trouble-shooting mechanical/software issues
-Routine equipment maintenance
-Inspection of existing and potential job sites to determine best equipment package/configurations for customers
-Other duties as required

13 hour shift, Rotational Schedule
Ability to commute/relocate:
Mandan/Williston, ND: Reliably commute to work between rig sits in North Dakota.
