**Two positions available (1) North Dakota and (1) North Carolina** Position Summary This position under the mentorship of the Quality Team will assist with essential projects related to quality assurance, quality control, and quality improvements while gaining invaluable experience for their future career.

Key Responsibilities Work closely with the site Quality Team to analyze and evaluate current state work methods, procedures, controls, and documentation systems within manufacturing and business processes.
Leads projects related to quality assurance, quality control, and/or quality improvement including project definition, selection, implementation, and reporting.
Provides advice, compiles data, reviews trends, and estimates costs and results of improvement projects.
Participate in root cause analysis with key stakeholders and implement corrective actions in response to nonconformance reports.
Develop internal systems and tools to promote and monitor quality excellence for the products produced at the facility.
Measure and scan material/parts under the direction of Quality Engineering.
Document, create, evaluate, and maintain procedures and standard work instructions.
Conduct tool and device calibrations which includes managing tools sent to third parties.
Utilize the Steffes Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for recording data related to inspections, non-conformances, and tool/device calibrations.
Develop and maintain production acceptance criteria.
Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in collaborative manner with customers, suppliers, co-workers, and management.
Helps company meet its Strategic, Quality and Safety objectives.
Other duties may be assigned.

Job Requirements/Qualifications Actively pursuing a degree in Quality, Engineering, Operations, or related field Proficient skills in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint Basic time management skills Effective verbal and written communication, including interpersonal skills Self-motivated with good organization and planning skills Physical Demands of Position This position requires walking, sitting or standing to a significant degree.
Must have the ability to lift 70 pounds from floor to waist, carry 50 pounds, and push and/or pull up to 100 pounds.
Must have the ability to climb ladders and/or stairs.
Stooping, crouching, kneeling and bending.
Handling, feeling, and gripping would be required for some activities.
Visual acuity is required to inspect work completed.
This role may be subject to internal and external environmental conditions.
