Summary of Work
This internship will provide valuable experience in reading and comprehending NDDOT (North Dakota Department of Transportation) plans and specifications while actively participating in various construction projects.
Interns will have the opportunity to gain experience in materials testing, construction surveying, and construction inspection while ensuring projects get built according to the plans and specifications.
This experience will provide you with real life experience working on active civil construction projects.
You will be part of a great project team and will learn valuable technical skills as well as how to communicate and work effectively as a team.
Key Responsibilities include Interpreting NDDOT plans and specifications, participation in materials testing and analysis, assisting in construction surveying activities, conducting construction inspection to ensure adherence to project specifications, and collaborating effectively with the project team and communicate project progress.

Minimum Qualifications
Must be enrolled in an engineering technology or civil/construction engineering undergraduate degree program.
Requires ability to lift and carry a total weight of up to 50 pounds.
Possession of a valid Class D Drivers License for travel within the state of North Dakota.
Requires satisfactory completion of the interview process and a verifiable record of satisfactory performance in previous employment.
