Construction Foreman/Construction Superintendent

Job Summary: Supervises and Coordinates the activities of construction workers.
May work under the direction of a construction superintendent.
Directs activities of workers concerned with the construction of buildings, dams, highways, pipelines, and other construction projects.
Oversees various construction foremen.
Essential Job Functions: Must be able to read and interpret job plans and specs.
Must be able to schedule subcontractors.
Must be able to oversee other employees and related trades.
Order necessary materials and supplies to complete your job task.
Must be able to make day to day decisions concerning projects.
Must be able to load and unload construction material.
Must be able to set and remove form work and do other related tasks.
Must be physically capable.
Must be able to perform light duty maintenance.
Must be able to operate power tools.
Must be able to place concrete in forms Must be able to lift 100 plus pounds Other Job Functions: Must be able to maintain proper housekeeping and yard maintenance.
Must be able to perform other job descriptions such as construction carpenter, cement finisher, iron worker and other construction tasks assigned by employer or supervisor.
Essential Job Requirement – Qualifications: Must be in physical working condition Valid drivers license is necessary.
