Electrical Laborer - (Construction) Bismarck, ND
Electrical Laborer needed for heavy highway construction company.
Primary job responsibility will be to assist Journeymen and Electrical Apprentices in installation/maintenance of street lighting and other duties as assigned.
Primary Responsibilities:
Understands and complies with Company/job safety requirements (OSHA).
Reports to assigned job site location on time, as directed.
Assist in loading, hauling, and unloading poles properly.
Organizes materials and tools in order to maintain clean and neat work areas.
Assist in digs, frames, and sets of wood distribution poles.
Assists in mount and install of assigned hardware (i.
e.
, poles, wires, strapping, etc as directed).
Able to use two handed tools/equipment (i.
e.
, cable cutters, drills, compression tools, jack hammers, etc.
).
Uses handlines, blocks and slings properly.
Able to dig trenches, tamping poles; either by use of hand tools or equipment.
Able to acquire/maintain personal hand tools per Company policy.
Has reliable transportation.
Understands verbal instructions and heeds warnings.
Some out of town work may be required.
This position has the potential for advancement including electrical apprenticeship if so desired.
Compensation:
Compensation package is dependent upon qualifications and experience
Must possess current valid driver license and pass pre-employment drug testing and background check.
