*Job purpose*
The Concrete Foundation Laborer's duties include setting up concrete wall forms, tying rebar, and pouring concrete.
*Duties and responsibilities*
* Set the wall forms
* Pour concrete
* Use rebar to reinforce the concrete
* Loads, transports, and unloads tools, equipment, and supplies required for each project
* Willingness to learn and follow instructions
* Must be able to use all hand tools of the trade safely & proficiently
* Be able to do high quality work at a fast pace
* Must be willing and able to work long hours & weekends
* Must be safety-oriented at all times
* Strong work ethic (dependable, excellent attendance, trustworthy)
* Ability to work well with others
* Must have a reliable means of transportation
* All other duties as assigned, delegated, or necessary for operations
*Qualifications*
* One year of Construction experience preferred
* Must be 18 years old at date of application
* Ability to pass a pre-employment urine drug test and comply with drug and alcohol policies during employment
*Working conditions*
* Outdoor environment subject to changing conditions and temperatures
* Occasional exposures to fumes, dust, odors, heights, and loud noises.
* May be required to work 50+ hours, 6 days a week.
*Physical requirements*
* Verbal, auditory, and written capabilities to effectively communicate in an articulate manner.
* Clarity of vision at varying distances to perform various work assignments.
* Standing, walking or sitting for extended periods of time.
* Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a variety of specialized tools and equipment.
* Reaching overhead, above the shoulders, and horizontally.
* Occasional bending, kneeling, or crouching.
* Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling object(s) weighing up to 75 pounds
