Summary of Work
This internship will provide quality experience with reading and understanding NDDOT plans and specifications while working on construction projects.
Applicants will have the opportunity to gain experience in construction inspection duties, materials testing, construction staking and project administration.
This internship is designed to provide you with comprehensive exposure to real-world engineering practices and nurture your skills for a successful career in the field.
Key Responsibilities include engaging in thorough analysis and comprehension of NDDOT plans and specifications, executing construction inspection duties under the guidance of experienced professionals, performing materials testing and providing accurate assessments of material quality, participating in construction staking activities to ensure precise project execution, and assisting in project administration tasks, including documentation and coordination.

Minimum Qualifications
Must be enrolled in an engineering technology or any engineering undergraduate or graduate degree program.
Requires ability to lift and carry a total weight of up to 50 pounds.
Possession of a valid Class D Drivers License for travel within the state of North Dakota.
Requires satisfactory completion of the interview process and a verifiable record of satisfactory performance in previous employment.
