This role is responsible for operating mobile equipment such as a forklift, floor jacks and hoist systems to receive, deliver and dispense stock material and miscellaneous goods.
The Warehouse Technician will work in a large warehouse environment receiving stock and components from delivery trucks and placing materials in the bins or assigned shelf locations, using the packing slip to check off every item and verify the shipment is complete.
Accuracy is extremely important, but speed is also a factor.
The persons in these positions will need to work on their own and will be expected to perform tasks without problems.
Additional responsibilities include the distribution of warehouse materials to the production floor and cycle counting inventoried items to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
Ability to work with little or no supervision.
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
Ability to operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
Knowledge of warehousing software and inventory management systems is an advantage.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
Must be willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays if necessary.
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years of manufacturing warehouse experience preferred.
Working knowledge of FDA's current good manufacturing practices (cGMP)
Food manufacturing experience
Valid driver license
Forklift experience preferred though training will be provided
Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screening
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
Comfort wearing PPE (personal protective equipment) as needed
Experience with Scanning Solution is preferred
Experience with cycle counting

Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to transport goods around the warehouse.
Adhere to safety rules and regulations, including the use of protective gear and proper lifting techniques.
Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring that goods are properly packaged and labeled.
Assist with inventory management, counting, and reconciling products to ensure accuracy.
