*Lead Carpenter Core Responsibilities:*
* *Communicate and coordinate with Project Manager on a daily basis to ensure that expectations for work to be done are thoroughly understood.
*
* *Perform bags-on rough and finish carpentry work as needed, from dust protection through punch list.
This will occasionally include some auxiliary trade work.
*
* *Ensuring a high quality standard for all trades performing work on each project.
Inspecting all work done by self and others.
Extreme ownership style!*
* *Overall management and self-performing work, on multiple projects simultaneously.
*
* *Consistently maintain a high level of on-site cleanliness and dust protection on projects.
*
* *Be constantly mindful of safety.
If a potential safety hazard is identified, then correct it, or report it to the Project Manager.
*
* *Maintain a high level of customer service and interaction with our clients.
*
* *Maintain a professional appearance for client interaction.
*
* *Role reports to a Project Manager.
*
* *Any and all other duties that arise or are delegated.
*
*Lead Carpenter Skills and Experience:*
* *2+ years of hands-on experience in construction and remodeling.
Or graduate of a carpentry trade program.
*
* *Possess great communication skills for interaction with trade partners, management, and most importantly our clients.
*
* *Be able to perform assigned duties with attention to Plain View exacting quality standards.
*
* *At minimum, possess a basic ability to read and understand construction plans.
*
* *Ability to use tools, lift up 50 lbs, and in general good health to stand or sit for periods of time in meetings, on construction sites, and in a vehicle driving to projects.
*
* *A great ATTITUDE and a desire to work with a fun team on unique and challenging projects.
