28/ Hour Employee Type: Full Time Job Category: Sanitation Required Degree: High school Manage Others: No *Description* *Monday - Thursday* *12:00p - 5:30p* *JOB SUMMARY* The Industrial Washroom Operators wash and sanitize all dishes and equipment brought to the washroom, and assist in other sanitation processes throughout the factory.
*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS* · Wash and sanitize all dishes brought to dish room.
Assist production in washing equipment brought to dish room.
Assist Sanitation Assistants in daily tasks when dish room details are complete.
Monitor temperatures and chemical usage of sanitizing equipment (dishwashers and three compartment sinks.
· Attend team meetings and monthly company meetings and be a contributing partner to the team.
· Normal hours worked per week are 20.
· Knowledge of proper HACCP and GMP procedures for labeling, storage and use of scrap dough.
· Assist in other areas of production as needed to efficiently produce product-utilizing lean manufacturing principles.
· Remove garbage material from production areas as well as keep area clean using mops, brooms, etc.
*Requirements* · Must be a team player.
· Must be capable of independently organizing workload.
· Ability to be on your feet for long periods.
· Ability to tolerate humid and hot temperature conditions.
· Must be able to lift 25 pounds on a frequent basis.
· Must be able to properly use various types of chemicals.
· Must be able to lift 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
· Must be able to disassemble and reassemble various types of equipment.
· Bending, stooping, walking, reaching, grasping, carrying, repetitive motions and visual skills are required on a constant basis.
Ability to stand on feet for entire work shift, normally 10 hours, is required, however, overtime may be required during peak production periods.
· Must possess problem-solving skills.
· Must possess communication skills.
· Work in a team environment so must have ability to work well with others.
· Ability to think and work safety and work safely at all times and must follow all proper ergonomic and safety practices.
· Ability to read, speak and understand the English language.
Must be able to perform simple math problems, including addition, subtraction and multiplication.
