Engineering Intern

Reports to: Engineering *Responsibilities * The Manufacture Engineer Intern provides support to production in the forms of: , participation in continuous improvement projects.
This position will spend time working in a quality lab and on the production floor.
The Intern has the following specific areas of responsibility.
1.
*SAFETY*: The Manufacture Engineer Intern will conduct work within the bounds defined by the Amber Waves safety manual, and is responsible for incidents that may occur due to deviations from the safety manual.
_*This may include:*_ Ÿ _Knowing and understanding the documented procedures within the Amber Waves safety manual _ *SUMMARY OF DUTIES*: Performs assignments of a non-routine nature: Develops manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for fabricating, building, assembling, and installing components.
Assures system and product quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and system capabilities; confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation processes.
Prepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Provides engineering information by answering questions and requests.
Completes projects by training and guiding technicians.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
