This position is primarily responsible for customer care relations with mortgage customers via phone and email to assure the customer receives high quality service; disbursement of property taxes; running annual escrow analysis; daily booking, proofing and servicing of mortgage loans.
Measures of Success Proven ability to prioritize and efficiently organize multiple work assignments.
Highly self-motivated and goal-oriented; Must have the ability to work independently.
Duties and Responsibilities Provide loan support to mortgage banking customers and lender support Escrow account maintenance and monitoring: Distribution of tax payments and insurance premiums “No escrow account” maintenance & tracking Perform escrow analysis for all mortgage loans (those sold to the secondary market and those retained in-house) Monitor and maintenance all servicing purchased loans including, but not limited to, funding and escrow monitoring.
Process Final Docs to ensure all requirements are met including satisfactions from other banks.
Process paid off loans.
Monitor Workflow Reports keeping them up to date.
Learn and be proficient in software required for loan servicing, input into the bank’s operating software system, correspondence and any other specialized software as determined by the supervisor.
Assist customers in routine banking needs, servicing inquiries and problem resolution to assure the customer receives high quality service.
Handle telephone calls, correspondence and process routine paperwork to support the mortgage loan functions of the bank.
Prepare reports as needed.
Knowledgeable in all laws, rules and regulations as applicable to residential mortgage lending.
Prepare documents for the electronic scanning process.
Scan work accurately while maintaining acceptable productivity.
Index documents in the image system.
Review imaged documents for Quality Assurance.
Maintain the control of physical documents and work in Vault Work with supervisor to identify and deploy best practices of imaging program.
Perform day to day activities as required.
Assist with maintaining the department’s imaging procedures.
Responsible for promoting the organization in the community through participation in various civic and community events, activities, committees and organizations.
Must maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism regarding all employee and customer issues and information.
Contributes to the overall success of the organization by leveraging opportunities as they relate to all entities of Bravera Holdings Corp.
Adhere to all banking rules and regulations, including but not limited to the requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act.
In addition, the employee will be proactive in the prevention of illegal activities, will vigilantly look for activities that may constitute any type of fraud including money laundering, and will report any suspicious activity to the BSA Officer.
Qualifications Education: Two-year associate degree or a four-year degree in business or a related field preferred.
Experience: 2-3 years equivalent work experience in banking or a related field.
Skills: Team player with strong computer skills, proficient with various software programs, effective communication skills, good math skills, friendly and outgoing personality.
