North Dakota Housing Finance Agency's (NDHFA) Homeownership Division works with homebuyers and financial housing partners across the state to make affordable homeownership accessible to all North Dakotans.

NDHFA is seeking a Loan Specialist to expand our Homeownership team.
As a Loan Specialist, you will provide high-quality customer service to NDHFA's borrowers, performing escrow account administration, processing mortgage loan payoffs and completing other mortgage loan servicing tasks.
The successful candidate will interact with customers by phone, email and in person.
Candidate must be able to thrive in a highly demanding work environment and manage daily tasks with frequent interruptions.
An example of tasks the Loan Specialist will complete include:
Escrow account administration consisting of new loan escrow setup, escrow account disbursements and escrow account adjustments.
Reconcile and submit insurance payments for Private Mortgage Insurance (PMI) insurance premiums.
Respond to borrower inquiries including online payments, homeowner's insurance, real estate taxes and other escrow account related questions.
Complete borrower information changes and post daily loan payment information on NDHFA's mortgage accounting system.
Process mortgage loan payoffs.
Assist with required mailings to borrowers.
Assist Payment Specialist team with loan collection tasks including contacting borrowers regarding delinquent payments, processing delinquent payments, loan monitoring, creating reports and assisting with other collection activities.
Provide high quality customer service to borrowers.
Minimum Qualifications
One year of work experience in financial services, mortgage loan processing, loan servicing or collections along with an associate degree in business, accounting, finance or related field of study or a combination of education and experience demonstrating equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.
The successful candidate must also complete the interview process, reference and background checks.
