Residential Loan Officer

Responsibilities: -Meet with loan applicants and provide information on mortgage loan products that best meet the member’s needs.
-Maintain knowledge of lending programs, policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
-Develop loans for all aspects of the market including but not limited to HELOC, residential, real estate, and new construction.
-Report Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) data to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) at the beginning of each year.
-Familiar with regulations relating to mortgages, liens, and other aspects of the loan process.
Skills: - Strong knowledge of basic math and financial calculations - Familiarity with escrow processes and procedures - Proficiency in using loan origination software - Excellent communication and negotiation skills - Ability to analyze credit reports and financial statements for credit analysis purposes - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Prior experience in a bank or lending institution is preferred Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $45,500.
