Travel Nurse RN - Electrophysiology Lab Responsibilities: Responds quickly and efficiently during an emergency and follows ACLS protocols.
Checks and documents emergency and POC testing equipment, and prepares cath lab holding area for day.
Performs Cardiology testing as per protocol.
Interventional Responsibilities (If trained in the Interventional Procedure Room): Assists Technical Staff and Cardiologist during Interventional Procedures in the Monitor, Scrub and circulation duties Maintains sterile field using sterile technique Assists with the preparation of procedure supplies Monitor’s patients for hemodynamic stability and arrhythmia’s, and responds appropriately.
Maintains knowledge of all interventional supplies: wires, quide catheters, manifold set up, procedural flow of case.
Practices and maintains competency with safe radiation exposure.
Uses effective communication during hand-offs.
