Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of seniors? Join our team as a non-medical in-home caregiver in Mercer/Oliver County! No certification or licensing is required - we provide paid training!
Schedule: Various shifts available! Our priority is to establish a consistent schedule for caregivers and clients.
- Preferred availability on Saturdays and Sundays
- Shifts of 2, 4, 6, 8, and 12 hours
- Day and night shifts available
- Weekday shifts are also available
- Need a flexible schedule? We have shorter PRN shifts!
Qualifications:
- Professional or family caregiving experience
- Able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
- Reliable transportation (valid driver's license and auto insurance if driving clients)
Responsibilities:
- Engage in companionship and conversation
- Provide standby assistance and light walking or exercise
- Administer medication reminders
- Assist with personal hygiene, light housekeeping, and meal preparation
- Accompany clients to appointments and help with errands/shopping
- Specialized training provided for Alzheimer's care
