Home Health Nurse

*\*Home Health & Hospice experience required.
\** \*Must have current Driver's License & Auto Insurance\* Responsibilities: - Provide direct patient care, including assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming - Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals - Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical personnel - Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and equipment as needed - Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding according to dietary guidelines - Provide emotional support and companionship to patients - Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients Skills: - Patient care: Ability to provide compassionate and attentive care to patients of all ages and backgrounds - IV insertion: Proficiency in safely inserting and maintaining intravenous lines for medication administration - Critical care: Knowledge and experience in caring for critically ill patients in a home healthcare setting - Physical examinations: Ability to perform basic physical assessments, including taking vital signs and measuring height and weight - Medical imaging: Familiarity with medical imaging procedures such as X-rays or ultrasounds - Esthetic laser treatment: Experience in performing esthetic laser treatments for various skin conditions - Catheterization: Skill in inserting and caring for urinary catheters - Memory care: Understanding of the unique needs of patients with memory impairments, such as Alzheimer's disease or dementia - Systems: Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems or other healthcare software for documentation and communication purposes - Catheter care: Knowledge of proper catheter care techniques to prevent infection and ensure patient comfort Please note that specific skills may vary depending on the requirements of each individual home health aide position.
Job Type: Contract Pay: $2,500.
