Mental Health Counselor The Mental Health Counselor will be responsible for providing standardized clinical mental health counseling services that involve the application of principles of human development, learning therapy, psychotherapy, group dynamics, and the etiology of mental illness and dysfunctional behavior to individuals, couples, families, and groups for the purpose of promoting optimal mental health, dealing with normal problems of living, and treating psychopathic disorders.
The Mental Health Counselor will work with other team members to address other social risk needs of patients and will utilize area referral network and resources for needed emergency or advanced psychiatric assessment and services.
Coal Country Community Health Center locations include the public schools located in the communities we serve, Beulah, Hazen, Center and Killdeer North Dakota.
The Full Time Mental Health Counselor will be located in Killdeer, North Dakota.
Experience/Requirements: Behavioral Health Counselor licensure such as LMSW, LCSW, LPCC, LPC, LAPC Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Attention to detail.
Computer knowledge.
Ability to work with diverse groups of people.
Ability to collaborate in a team setting.
