*Hey Bismarck, *we are currently seeking compassionate, dedicated, and fun-loving individuals to join our *Home Care Companions *team as *Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA).
* Home Care Companions is the home care division of Edgewood Healthcare.
As a CNA at Home Care Companions, you would be responsible for providing excellent client care, supporting our seniors in maintaining and improving their day-to-day abilities, while helping foster their independence and confidence at home.
CNAs are responsible for providing support with activities of daily living, such as personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming) and light homemaking (meal preparation, washing dishes, dusting, making beds) for clients residing in their homes.
*Specific responsibilities may include but are not limited to:*
* Travel to client's homes while building a valued rapport with the clients served.
* Measure and record temperatures, pulse, and respirations.
* Report all changes in the client's condition.
* Assist clients with bath functions (i.
e.
, dressing/undressing, bed/bath, tub or shower bath, etc.
), hair care functions (i.
e.
, combing, brushing, shampooing, etc.
), nail care (i.
e.
, clipping, trimming, and cleaning the finger/toenails), and shaving.
* Prepare clients for meals, serve food trays, and assist with feeding as necessary, record the client's food/fluid intake and report changes in his/her eating habits.
Perform after meal care (i.
e.
, remove trays, clean hands, face, clothing, take to bathroom, brush teeth, clean dentures, etc.
).

*Qualifications:*
* Must be at least 18 years of age
* Ability to read, write, and verbally report clinical information to clients, representatives, and caregivers, as well as to other home health staff
* Experience working with the elderly strongly preferred
* Have dependable transportation and appropriate license to operate vehicle
