Summary

is looking for a Product Specialist, Crop Protection to join our wholesale agronomy team in North Dakota.
You must be able to make decisions, work independently, and in a team environment.
You must be detail oriented with excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
This opportunity has growth potential and offers mobility within CHS.
This is a remote position with a home office.
Responsibilities
Assist the Technical Specialists with building customer confidence and proper positioning of CHS proprietary products throughout the company.
Support CHS proprietary product line and corresponding technical information that relates to those products.
Participate in and present to customers and coworkers at various meetings where attention is being brought to CHS proprietary product line.
Establish and coordinate the accumulation of information and data from CHS proprietary plots at customer locations.
Assist the Technical Specialists with the accumulation of information that relates to complaints and the resolution of those complaints.
Assist the Technical Specialists with the training of sales personnel to effectively deliver technical information to customers.
Assist with and provide the Research and Product Analyst to the accumulation of data from appropriate field demonstration trials and replicated research trials.
Evaluate new potential products that could become future CHS proprietary products.
Assist marketing personnel with information needs and technical decisions.
Assist with the development of technical selling tools for use by company personnel, including but not limited to presentations, technical bulletins, promo sheets, and the Crop Production Book.
Minimum Qualifications (required)
High School diploma and/or GED
2+ years of experience in sales and/or business development
Additional Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in agronomy, plant pathology, entomology or weed science.
5 plus years of overall professional experience in the agricultural industry with field research or tech service background.
2 plus years Technical knowledge, field research, and data evaluation skills.
Strong agriculture background/knowledge
Strong focus and dedication to customer service and product support to internal and external customers.

Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions.
Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications.
