We are currently growing our North America team and are seeking a *HR Specialist - Absence Case Management *to join our talented team!
This position is responsible for the administration of Leaves of Absence requests and accommodations requiring specialized attention, particularly those arising under the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), state leave laws, in a fast-paced environment.
Thorough knowledge of leave requirements and other legal protections afforded by the FMLA, ADA, Accommodations, Workers' Compensation, Short and Long Term Disability, Return to Work processes and other applicable laws including an understanding of the interactive ADA process and effectively administering it.
*This position may be located at our: Bismarck, ND | Gwinner, ND | Wahpeton, ND | West Fargo, ND | Litchfield, MN | Rogers, MN | Johnson Creek, WI | Statesville, NC locations.

*The qualified candidate will have: *
* Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent related experience.
* 2-4 years of progressive HR experience.
* Thorough knowledge of leave requirements and other legal protections afforded by the FMLA, ADA, Accommodations, Workers' Compensation, STD and LTD, Return to Work process and other applicable laws including an understanding of the interactive ADA process and effectively administering it.
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
* Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
* Professional and effective written and verbal communication skills with proven competency in analytical problem solving, attention to detail, organizational skills, multi-tasking, and approaching challenging matters with enthusiasm and creativity in a proactive manner.
* Exhibits a professional demeanor with all employees and vendors on all levels to include executive management and ability to maintain constructive working relationships.
* Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
* Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, HRIS software and other HR-related tools.
* Travel required: < 10%
