RN/LPN is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, diagnosis, intervention, implementation, and evaluation) to provide care to patients.
Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse will coordinate care, assess patients, do patient education, triage and various other interventions under the direct supervision of the Nurse Supervisor(s) and Orthopaedic Surgeons.
The RN/LPN will collaborate with physicians and other professionals to implement and evaluate care.

Job Duties include, but are not limited to:
* Obtains, verifies, and records health history of patients.
* Assist Orthopaedic Surgeon in the Operating Room.
* Fulfills patient care responsibilities including scheduling and patient flow, assisting patients for exam preparation, charting, and relaying instructions to patients.
* Evaluate, assess and provide treatment under physician’s/Advanced Practice Provider direction.
* Apply and remove splints, casts and dressings.
* Administer intramuscular and subcutaneous injections as indicated.
* Coordinate patient care with ancillary personnel (physical therapy, occupational therapy, orthotics and prosthetics, appointment scheduling, radiology, surgery scheduling, home health, home infusion and wound care).
* Remove surgical sutures, staples and percutaneous pins.
Providing direct patient care and patient and family education
* Must be able to multitask
* Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with others
Registered Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse must be dependable and willing to work in a high volume clinical setting.
Applicant shall have the initiative and motivation to work in a fast paced environment.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM No weekends, holidays, or call
Education/Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited program.
