Evolve Healthcare seeks qualified Surgical Technicians for a 13-week travel assignment with a major hospital system in Bismarck, ND.
Ideal candidates have at least 3 yrs OR experience, their BLS, CST and North Dakota UAP registry.
*Start: 3/25-6/24 13 weeks*
*Shifts: 645-1515 on-Fri (6AM start for Open Heart Case Prep) 32 hrs guaranteed*
*Pay: $2107.
20 gross per 32 hrs (includes $1443.
20 base and $664 stipend) Bi-Weekly Pay*
```*Duties*```
- Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available
- Assist the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments, sponges, and sutures
- Maintain aseptic technique throughout surgical procedures to prevent infection
- Monitor and record vital signs of patients before, during, and after surgery
- Collect and analyze patient data to assist in patient care decisions
- Provide direct patient care, including positioning patients, preparing incision sites, and applying dressings
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a safe and efficient surgical environment
- Utilize electronic medical record systems (such as Epic) to document patient information accurately
```*Qualifications*```
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program preferred
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST)
- Experience working in an ambulatory surgery center or hospital setting preferred
- Knowledge of surgical instruments, equipment, and procedures
- Familiarity with aseptic technique and infection control practices
- Ability to anticipate the needs of the surgical team and respond quickly and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
