Director of Nursing

Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch is seeking to hire an experienced and dedicated Director of Nursing to provide leadership while strengthening and creating new pathways for innovative nursing supports in our psychiatric residential treatment facilities.
Supported by local Nursing Coordinators, the Director of Nursing directs the nursing care provided to children in our psychiatric residential treatment facility and outpatient mental health clinic while leading a mission-focused nursing team that role models a Culture of Purpose, Caring, and Learning.
The children and adolescents who come to the Ranch have complex mental and behavioral health issues, including attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, anxiety, depression, autism, bipolar disorder, and trauma.

Schedule: This is an exempt, salaried position with mostly weekday (Monday-Friday) hours and some participation in the nursing after-hours phone consultation rotation.
This position can office out of our Minot, Bismarck, or Fargo locations, with monthly travel expected to support the other campuses.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in nursing required with three to five years related experience and/or training, master’s degree preferred.
Current licensure and registration in North Dakota as a Registered Nurse or ability to become licensed in ND.
Currently have or able to obtain Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Certification.
Demonstrated leadership ability.
Starting Wage: Base annual salary of $79,000 + DOE with additional compensation for Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Certification.
