Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Cath Lab - SD

Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Cath Lab Responsibilities: Knowledge of medical terminology; principles and practices of health promotion, risk reduction, illness and disease prevention and management; medications and drugs, common dosages, their physical and physiological effects, and possible adverse reactions.
Knowledge of medical and professional nursing ethics and patient privacy rights.
Must be able to communicate thoughts clearly, both verbally and in writing.
Interpersonal skills to interact with a wide-range of constituencies.
Must have critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Educational/Licensing: Current state RN license.
Advanced Life Support Certification/BLS upon hire required.
Qualifications: Minimum of two years recent experience in ICU, CCU or a related critical care specialty area.
Previous cardiac cath lab experience preferred.
Must have the ability to function efficiently and responsibly in a team-oriented atmosphere with multiple work demands.
Must be able to respond appropriately in emergency situations that may arise during high-risk procedures.
