The Senior Business Informatics Analyst (BI Ops) on the Revenue Cycle team is an individual with a professional background in business services and has a special interest and expertise in the use Epic.
The Senior Business Informatics Analyst will be knowledgeable in supporting the front end users which includes ADT and Cadence and the back end users which includes professional and hospital billing.
Job Summary
Responsible for assisting assigned facilities, geographical areas or specific areas of responsibility with the development, implementation, training, evaluation and maintenance of business informatics projects and Epic functionality.
May include clinics, hospitals, business offices, finance departments, materials or any other business unit associated with the use of and associated interfaced and integrated systems.
Used in a variety of cross-entity (clinic, medical center, network facilities) projects for informing, developing, implementing all aspects and associated business applications.
Act as a liaison to assigned facility directors, staff, Super Trainers and Super Users, as well as all end users to facilitate optimal use of Sanford software and associated business software applications.
Assist department leaders and others in the support of business applications to include support, optimization and maintenance of all aspects.
Expected to be knowledgeable and experienced with operations associated with finance, business and support departments including their workflows within clinics and hospitals and will monitor and respond to the needs of those in their assigned areas of responsibility.
Maintains and enforces established standard processes across the enterprise.
Recognizes and lifts up questions, concerns and/or issues to leadership as appropriate.
Must be self-directed with the ability to lead others.
Must be able to critically think quickly under stress and respond appropriately to high priority situations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum one years' experience in a healthcare business department preferred.
