Qualifications and Detail about the Position Summary: The Corporate HSE Specialist assists the Corporate HSE Manager with the overall compliance and administration of the Corporate HSE Program.
Assist in the compliance administration of the company HSE Program across the organization to maintain a safe and healthful work environment and ensure security of company property.
Responsibilities: Promote, demonstrate and instill Brock’s Bsafe and Bbest culture in all aspects of the business Conduct EHS training and orientations.
Assists in the development and review of location audits along with identifying systemic trends that impact the organization and strategizing on proper corrective actions.
Assist with emergency response Assist with development and implementation of HSE programs and procedures Provides technical guidance on procedures and processes to assure employee safety and compliance with applicable regulations and/or consensus standards Maintain metrics and KPIs Prepare reports Perform sampling and monitoring where required.
Assist with incident investigations and report preparation Assist with the continuous improvement of the corporate wide HSE program.
Assist with the development and maintenance of an effective HSE Program which complies with applicable regulations and requirements, Corporate policies and Client requirements Provide consultation on development and implementation of HSE standards, programs and management systems Manage Client required qualification database programs Manage the Corporate HSE qualification process for potential and current subcontractors to ensure compliance with Corporate and Client requirements Provide assistance in other company functions as needed (i.
e.
, investigations, incident management, etc.
).
Manage Client required qualification database programs Liaise with internal and external business partners to drive safety improvement and compliance initiatives Represents HSE in a positive way, encourages safe behavior and incident reductions Other information: Working Condition:s Working conditions include outdoor and indoor field, yard and shop locations.
Working indoors in an office environment Utilization of Personal Protective Equipment is necessary.
Frequent travel as required Skills & Abilities: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate to all levels Strong presentation skills; comfortable speaking in front of groups Excellent planning, organizing and project management skills Ability to manage multiple projects Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in HSE or a related field preferred, or documented OSHA and/or other HSE training and compliance auditing related training is acceptable.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in HSE compliance administration Experience managing compliance with qualification database programs.
