Provides and performs secretarial services associated with the overall operation of the Trauma program in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of CHI St.
Alexius Health.
What You'll Do: Adheres to the CHI St.
Alexius Health mission, vision, and values to foster a compassionate, healing environment providing physiological, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, families, and visitors.
Coordinates Trauma related injury prevention activities and maintains accurate and ongoing records of program activities for the organization.
Coordinates meeting times, locations, and agendas for all Trauma related activities.
Attends all trauma related meetings and distributes associated meeting minutes, memorandums or other communication in a timely manner.
Assists in planning, coordinating, conducting, and evaluating trauma related education and prevention programs for organizational staff and community members based on documented needs.
Participates in Trauma chart abstraction duties, assists in data collection, data input, and data retrieval in the Trauma registry.
Completes Trauma registry education as directed by the American College of Surgeons for Level 2 trauma centers.
Performs clerical duties for ATLS and TNCC educational programs.
Maintains and assists in updating all Trauma department policies and procedures.
Effectively collaborates with other departments and disciplines as related to the Trauma program and injury prevention activities.
Qualifications High School Diploma or GED BLS within orientation period and meets re-certification requirements Knowledge of medical terminology, strong oral and written communication skills, and basic computer skills required.
Pay Range $14.
07 - $18.
