Alexius Health is a regional health network with a tertiary hospital in Bismarck, the system also consists of critical access hospitals (CAHs) in Carrington, Dickinson, Devils Lake, Garrison, Turtle Lake, Washburn and Williston and numerous clinics and outpatient services.

Responsibilities
Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families.
Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards; measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards; making or recommending necessary nursing, state nurse practice act, and other governing agency regulations.
Meets the educational needs of patient/family/co-workers utilizing principles of teaching/learning.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, adjustments; following hospital and nursing division's philosophies and standards of care set by state board of rules, and regulations; calling for assistance from health care support personnel.
Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations.
Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
Maintains a cooperative relationship among health care teams by communicating information; responding to requests; building rapport; participating in team problem-solving methods.
Successfully completes the defined job specific competencies, including competencies for age specific, as appropriate.
Qualifications
Education: Nursing degree from an approved school of nursing.
Licensure: Licensed to practice registered nursing in the state of ND or in a compact state.
Graduate Nurse (G.
N.
) must practice under the supervision of a registered nurse while the work authorization to practice is valid.
Experience: No previous experience required.
Skills: Working knowledge of basic clinical skills in delivery of patient care.
Basic Life Support Certification within 480hours of employment and meets recertification as required.
Pay Range
$28.
