Sanford Children s Therapies is seeking a full-time Therapy Aide to support service delivery in our exciting and inspirational children s clinic.
Therapy Aide duties include supporting the needs of therapists and patients during treatment sessions, cleaning of equipment and treatment rooms, ordering and stocking of therapy supplies, tracking of equipment updates, and more.
Sanford Children s Therapies is a fun clinic that provides physical, occupational, and speech therapy services to children birth to age 21.
Therapists, aides, patients, and families collaborate to help children with a variety of disabilities or impairments learn to walk, talk, and live life to the fullest.
This busy, active clinic will keep you moving throughout the day and provide many opportunities for interacting with children.

Job Summary
Assists patients/residents/clients with therapy activities and exercises scheduled in a treatment plan, under the supervision of a physical therapist, to improve patients'/residents'/clients' quality of life and ability to perform daily activities.
Provides, monitors and records therapy services for patients/residents/clients suffering from physical, or developmental impairments, in line with related standard concepts, practices and procedures.
Documents patients'/residents'/clients' progress and adjusts treatments as needed under supervision with the licensed Physical Therapist as appropriate.
Prepares equipment and materials for treatment; assists patients/residents/clients' and provides encouragement to make sure that they correctly perform treatments.
As needed, performs other related duties as requested.
Depending on location and facility needs, work may focus on those receiving intervention in the post-acute, long term care, and home health care environments.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) required.
On-the-job training will be provided.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 6 months of employment.
When applicable, current valid driver s license, and must meet all medical guidelines for Sanford Health Category II drivers.
