*POSITION TITLE: *Office Coordinator
*APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:* Resume AND Cover Letter
*GENERAL SCOPE OF DUTIES:*
This position leads and supports various office administrative and financial functions.
Administrative:
* Oversee projects and processes in the office and serve as the lead point of contact for a variety of contracts that support ongoing operations
* Coordinate computer, software, network, phone systems purchasing and troubleshooting with the support of a third-party contractor
* Be responsive to phone and email correspondence
* Manage office supplies
* Perform a variety of tasks using GNDC's association management software and other office Use of technologies
* Assist with board meeting preparation, logistics, minutes, and follow-up
* Take on additional tasks/special projects at the discretion of the President
* Support GNDC events by assisting other staff as needed
* Responsible for a variety of membership support functions
Financial:
* Manage all accounts payable and receivable activity, including maintaining accurate financial records and other necessary information for all GNDC accounts.
Note: GNDC contracts with a third party for payroll & accounts payable processing and preparing monthly financial statements
* Make recommendations relating to financial record-keeping
* Ensure GAP compliance with applicable financial reporting requirements (with contractor support)
* File appropriate state and federal employer/employee reports as required
* Maintain records for staff leave and sick time
* Track and maintain employee benefit information
* Ensure the filing system is orderly and that necessary documentation is available for staff members and as required by law
* Assist with annual budget preparation and implementation
* Prepare documentation for annual outside audit and assist outside professional service for income tax preparation
*Basic Requirements*
* Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Must possess Microsoft Office experience – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
* Proficient with QuickBooks
* Bachelor's degree and two years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience applicable to the position's responsibilities.
Non-profit experience is preferred but not required
* Generally 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday (though occasionally evening meetings and overnight travel will occur)
* Driver's License and reliable transportation to arrive at work
* Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 35 pounds and infrequently lift and move up to 55 pounds.
* Ability to successfully pass a background check
