40 hours per week | Monday through Friday Day shift with flexibility to accommodate events and employee training No weekends or holidays Duties: Perform and support a variety of HR functions, including benefits administration, payroll processing, talent acquisition, safety reporting and organizational data analytics.
Provide timely and courteous support and assistance to current employees of the organization in a variety of facets, utilizing multiple communication tools.
Facilitate orientation and educational sessions for new onboarding employees on a reoccurring basis.
Coordinate and host employee engagement and/or recognition initiatives and events as assigned.
Provide support to the hiring process in applicant screening, processing and/or interviews.
File departmental paperwork and purge documents according to procedures.
Responsible for coordinating and assisting in the Open Enrollment process.
Complete verifications of employment.
Maintain the confidentiality of department, finance and employee information.
Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, with attention to details.
Primary Job Function Based on Assignment: Administer and coordinate FMLA, medical and personal leaves in accordance with all applicable laws and company policies.
Determine employee eligibility, changes in coverage, manage employee paperwork, and process company benefit and retirement plan enrollments in coordination with vendor.
Provide backup support to the payroll process by maintaining the ability to cover duties and process payroll as needed.
Process timely and accurate filings of employee injuries in accordance with WSI and OSHA.
Assist with routine safety training programs as assigned.
Create, maintain and update analytics for recruitment, safety, and assorted initiatives.
Prepare, organize and maintain organizational spreadsheet tracking for a variety of departmental needs on a reoccurring basis.
Analyze, report and compile monthly attendance to organization directors for review and for payroll processing needs.
Preparation of all benefit documents for annual enrollment, ACA reporting, ongoing orientation, and any necessary amendments or educational sessions.
Data entry of benefits and deductions in payroll software for voluntary insurances, elections, and other miscellaneous deductions.
Data entry of ancillary employee related documentation within the Kronos system.
Reconcile payroll deductions for insurance and work with Finance Director on monthly true up.
Provide primary support to the payroll process in timekeeping procedures such as company benefit entries, premium and incentive validation, etc.
Must be proficient in typing, spelling, proofing of work.
Other Job Functions: Preparation of reports and information for the financial as requested.
Attend in-service and departmental meetings.
Participate in committees and work groups as assigned.
Participate in MSLCC’s Quality Assurance & Improvement Program as assigned.
Will be responsible to be aware of the Volunteer Protection Program (VPP) and Risk Management/Safety Program and will adhere to the established policies and procedures within the Administration department and facility wide with regards to job performance and safe operating procedures.
Must respect and uphold resident rights in all regards including confidentiality of resident’s personal, financial and health information.
Demonstrates MSLCC’s customer service standards of excellence.
