*Title: Licensed Practical Nurse - LTC*
*Location: Bismarck, ND 58503*
*Duration: 4 weeks*
*Shift: Evenings; Nights; Variable Shifts*
*Hours/week: 36 (one week would be 44 hours and one week would have 33 hours)*
*Responsibilities:*
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medication, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with activities of daily living
- Perform routine procedures such as wound care, catheter care, and IV insertion
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Athenahealth
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication administration, and self-care techniques
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures in various specialties such as ophthalmology and dermatology
- Coordinate and communicate with laboratory and diagnostic imaging departments for patient testing
- Manage durable medical equipment (DME) needs of patients
