Registered Dental Hygienist

Exceptional patient care is our focus and reason to be: - Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth - Take and develop dental x-rays - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide oral health instructions - Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed - Conduct patient assessments and record medical histories- - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation - Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality Skills: - Proficient in performing dental hygiene procedures for patients of all ages, including pediatrics - Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health systems - Ability to assess patients' oral health conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans - Experience working in a dental office setting, preferably with knowledge of Dentrix software - Competent in taking vital signs and monitoring patients during procedures Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
