Billing Specialist

Metro-Billing Services has an immediate opening for a full time Ambulance Billing Specialist.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and computer skills, a professional and friendly attitude and the ability to organize and prioritize workload.
This position requires excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
Medical billing experience is helpful but not required.
Job Duties: * Review patient care records for accuracy and completeness and obtain any missing information * Obtain insurance information and confirm patient demographics through insurance eligibility websites * Prepare, review and transmit claims using billing software, including electronic and paper claim processing * Follow up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle timeframe * Work with insurance companies to research and resolve denials and other issues * Assist patients with billing and insurance related inquiries Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.
