Includes weekend rotation every 4th weekend & rotating holidays 2-3 times per year
Primary Job Function
Responsible for assuring sufficient supplies are maintained at each nursing unit
Responsible for the cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing of medical equipment
Duties
Cleans and assists in maintaining nursing and resident equipment, such as scales, oxygen tanks, IV stands, etc.
Inputs and documents equipment informational logs, standard operating procedures, and resident inventory using an electronic system
Mixes chemical solutions for cleaning tasks as required per safe operating procedures
Sets up isolation carts; cleans, monitors, and supplies carts for residents
Itemizes and inventories belongings of new residents and marks residents' names appropriately on the items as needed
Assists with transfer of residents' belongings, including furniture and clothing
Maintains confidentiality of resident care and information
Distributes resident clean clothing from laundry room to residents' rooms daily
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred
Current CNA certification from North Dakota required
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 35 pounds
Must be able to walk 25-75% of an 8 hour shift
Must be able to stand and reach 90% of an 8 hour shift
