Missouri Slope is pleased to offer a Medication Assistant II Training Program! We will cover the cost of educational classes, text & materials, and clinical experience for chosen candidates.
All class and clinical time will be paid at an hourly wage.
$5,000 sign-on bonus for external applicants!
$5,000 bonus to internal applicants (on top of previously agreed upon sign-on bonus)!
Bonus will be offered when candidate accepts a position guaranteed 24-40 hours per week and is paid out after 6, 12, 18, and 24 months upon completion of program.

Day Shift (6:00am-2:30pm)
40 hours per week
36 flexing to 40 hours per week
32 flexing to 40 hours per week
32 hours per week
24 hours per week
PM Shift (2:15pm-10:45pm)
40 hours per week
32 flexing to 40 hours per week
32 hours per week
24 hours per week
16 hours per week
A minimum of 8 hours per week as a Medication Assistant or as needed
Other guaranteed hours will be scheduled as a CNA
Class Schedule
8:30am - 5:00pm; January 8th, 10th, 12th, 15th, 17th, 19th
After passing the classroom portion, 4 days of clinicals will be scheduled on either the day or PM shift.
Duties
Attend and pass 48 hours of classroom training & testing and 32 hours of clinical training within 6 months
Administer medications and personal resident care according to standards of practice
Documentation of medications given
Assist CNAs with transfers
Answer call lights as time allows
Perform Medication Assistant duties a minimum of 8 hours within a two-week timeframe and more as needed; other guaranteed hours will be scheduled as CNA duties
Qualifications
18 years of age or older
High school diploma or equivalent required
Currently CNA certified in ND
Must be a CNA in good standing
Must commit to attending all training classes on site as scheduled
Must complete clinical training hours within 6 months of classroom training
Must be willing to become CPR certified (training provided by Missouri Slope)
Must be willing to abide by and sign the Medication Assistant Program Agreement
