Charge Nurse Geri Psych F/T
Full-time (40 hours per week) day shift position including rotating weekends and holidays.
The primary work location is the geriatric psychiatric secured unit, consisting of up to 20 residents, within the long-term care nursing facility.
Retention bonuses available to qualified new employees.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Providing quality nursing care to residents in an environment that promotes their rights, dignity, freedom of choice, and individuality.
Directing nursing care to residents and supervising daily nursing activities performed by CNAs, MAs, and support personnel in accordance with policies and regulations.
Planning and implementing nursing services, assisting resident admission, transferring, discharging, and communicating resident issues and concerns.
Requirements include:
Active nursing license (LPN or RN) verifiable within the North Dakota Board of Nursing.
Authorization to work in the United States.
Ability to communicate effectively and pleasantly with residents and teammates.
