To ensure CrossCountry Freight Solutions receives the appropriate revenue on shipments, the Weight and Research will review shipment data reported from the field to verify the accuracy of the classification, dimensions, and weight of the shipment compared to that of the bill of lading information.
Location: On-site at a CCFS Terminal Location
Hours: Flexible (Part-Time), afternoon 12pm-4pm or 4pm-8pm
Wage: $17.

Job Duties & Responsibilities Include:
Inspection of LTL freight shipments data for proper National Motor Freight Classification descriptions; This includes, but is not limited to, measuring cubes, densities, and determining proper NMFC descriptions
Review shipment data to ensure accurate weight and dimensions
Provide inspection data research to the Pricing department regarding shipper’s profile
Various other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
Weight and Research experience
Transportation experience
Knowledge of National Motor Freight Class
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to self-motivate and self-manage
Ability to work independently and as a team member
Ability to function under pressure and work in a busy fast paced environment
Basic math, analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to review basic data and make decisions
High School graduate or equivalent
