Position Description & Details
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Education Instructor to join our team on a part-time, temporary basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for instructing medical program skills labs, with a commitment of possibly 8-16 hours per month, as well as supervising clinical experiences for up to 40 hours.
This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of future healthcare professionals.
Instruct medical program skills labs, ensuring adherence to program curriculum and objectives.
Supervise and mentor students during clinical experiences, fostering their professional growth and development.
Collaborate with program faculty and staff to enhance the learning experience and ensure program effectiveness.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and clinical experiences.
Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students from diverse backgrounds.
Participate in program meetings and professional development activities as required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Continuously – 66-100% - Use hands dexterously, talk or hear.
Frequently – 34-65% - Stand, walk, or sit.
Occasionally – 1-33% - Reach with hands and arms, stoop/kneel/crouch, crawl, climb or balance, or lift to 50 pounds.
Minimum Requirements
Licensed registered nurse (RN) or licensed practical nurse (LPN) in good standing.
Minimum of three years of nursing experience, preferably in a clinical or educational setting.
Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with diverse groups of students, faculty, and staff.
Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
