Medical Coding Specialist
The Medical Coding Specialist will join a great team of experienced medical coders with over 40 years of combined experience.
The Medical Coding Specialist reviews, analyzes and codes diagnostic and procedural information that determines Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance payments.
The primary function of this position is to perform ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPS coding for reimbursement.
The Medical Coding Specialist also ensures compliance with established coding, third party reimbursement policies and regulations.
Experience/Requirements:
Certified Professional Coder or RHIT Certification, preferred.
Prior medical billing, coding and charge entry experience preferred.
Attention to detail,
Computer knowledge necessary,
Advanced knowledge in medical terminology
