Front Desk Dental Receptionist

Bridging the Dental Gap is a non-profit public health dental clinic located in Bismarck, ND.
The main focus of the clinic is to provide dental care to the underserved population and to those who have ND Medicaid benefits.
Responsibilities · Greet and welcome patients and visitors in person and on the phone in a friendly and professional manner · Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar · Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays or payments · Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations · Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as necessary · Provide general information about the dental office, services, and policies to patients · Send and manage ND Medicaid pre-authorizations Qualifications · Previous experience as a receptionist in a dental/medical office setting is preferred · Previous experience in using phone systems and other office equipment · Strong organizational skills and attention to detail · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills · Previous experience as a dental assistant a plus · Familiarity with Dentrix management software or similar software a plus · Willing to train the right person Benefits · Competitive pay · Fully paid top-tier health insurance · Fully paid top-tier vision insurance · Free dental care for employees, significant other and children · 401K with match · Paid vacation & sick leave · Paid holidays · CE allowance · Flexible schedule · Offer opportunities for AFLAC plans · Offer opportunities for flex benefits · Free monthly lunches · Great mentoring environment Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.
