Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in a psychiatric setting, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and document patient progress and behavior
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques as needed
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, medications, and coping strategies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems
- Adhere to all clinic policies, procedures, and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid NP/ PA in the state of practice
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in psychiatric nursing preferred
- Proficient in IV insertion, catheterization, and other relevant nursing skills
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to psychiatric conditions and treatment
-Familar with ketamine infusions for mental health
- Intetested in working in private practice
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a diverse patient population
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team
- Experience working in settings such as mental health private clinics is a plus
