Position Summary The Field Technician is responsible for the maintenance, upkeep, and repairs on generators in our fleet which includes servicing of natural gas and diesel engines according to company standards, inspections of running equipment, and general upkeep of all company assets.
Additionally, this position will haul LNG with occasional trips to TX.
This position services the Williston Basin operating out of Dickinson, North Dakota.
Responsibilities Field Tech (70%) Service of natural gas and diesel engines in our fleet (primarily on customer locations).
Safely drive to and from multiple customer locations in most weather conditions.
Maintenance company truck to include daily stocking and inventory of parts.
Maintenance company tools.
Maintenance lube skid.
Document all work performed during services and repairs.
Safely haul trailer-mounted generators to and from customer locations.
Obtain and maintain customer safety certifications.
Perform all work in a safe manner according to company policies and customer policies.
Adhere to proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (i.
e.
, safety toe boots, hard hat, fall protection, eye protection, hearing protection, and flame-retardant clothing).
Perform other duties as assigned/required.
CDL A Hazmat Driver (30%) Safe and efficient transportation to customer sites Offload LNG via hydraulic pump or pressure transfer Complete paperwork, vehicle inspections, trip reports, and logs during shift Follow all safety policies and procedures with adherence to all DOT, OSHA and EPA regulations/standards Maintain company equipment in good operating condition Required Experience, Abilities and Traits 3 or more years’ experience in mechanical type work.
2 years of oilfield commercial driving experience Posses and maintain a valid Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements Possess and maintain a satisfactory motor vehicle record (MVR).
Must pass the company's road test, which will include a proper pre-trip inspection of the vehicle Must pass FMCSA drug test, alcohol test, and background check Understand best practices for maintaining and safely operating tractor-trailers Safety conscious mindset required to employ safe work practices for operating in the oil and gas field on the road Possess a function mobile phone with GPS and ability to install business applications.
Must pass a pre-employment background check and participate in the company’s drug and alcohol program.
Ability and willingness to work weekends and holidays on a rotating on-call schedule.
Understanding of proper use and maintenance of hand and power tools.

Physical Requirements Ability to perform the following physical activities: working outside, standing for extended periods, climbing ladders, kneeling, bending, or reaching, sitting, stooping, crouching, working at elevated locations and platforms and crawling.
Ability to work in remote locations in difficult environmental conditions and respond to after-hours call outs.
Ability to work long hours in all weather conditions.
