*Optician / Optometric Technician – sell glasses – help the doctors – TRAINING PROVIDED* Vision Source Mandan is looking for a team-player to join our group and help us take care of our patients’ eyes! We need a friendly and motivated individual who can help patients select their eyeglasses in the optical as well as assist the doctors with diagnostic testing.
Our clinic provides high-quality family eye care services in addition to helping patients address a wide variety of medical ocular needs.

com Role: * Help patients select the appropriate frame for their style and visual needs * Accurately measure patients for their eyeglass lenses * Perform adjustments and repairs on eyewear * Teach patients about proper contact lens handling * Place orders for contact lenses and eyeglasses * Help patients understand their insurance benefits and submit claims * Conduct preliminary testing for the eye doctors * Perform diagnostic testing as needed by the eye doctors * Prior optical or optometry experience is preferred but not required! We provide on-the-job training.
* This position is full time.
* We utilize technology in our clinic so familiarity with a computer is a must.
