MDU Resources Group, Inc.
, the largest publicly traded company headquartered in North Dakota, with operations, customers, and more than 10,000 employees across the country is seeking a Legal Analyst with excellent communication skills and an advanced level of organizational skills to perform a variety of legal analyst services exercising skill, discretion, and independent judgment under the supervision of an attorney.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience; and • Three years advanced knowledge and expertise in a specialized area or areas of the law obtained through formal education, specialty certification, training, or experience.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS Must take all measures necessary to protect networks, devices, programs and data from cyber-attack, damage or unauthorized access.
This position is located on site at the MDU Resources Corporate Campus in Bismarck, ND Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, no sponsorships considered.
Subject to pre-employment drug testing and background checks.
May be required to maintain a valid driver’s license.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience in areas related to the Company’s business operations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Reviews, analyzes, and drafts correspondence and legal documents with respect to MDU Resources Group, Inc.
and its subsidiaries.
Performs research including the use of internet services, library services, statistical and documentary research.
Leads the preparation of administrative applications before state and federal agencies with jurisdiction over MDU Resources Group, Inc.
and its subsidiaries.
Assists attorneys with creation of reports and presentations to the MDU Resources Group, Inc.
Board of Directors.
Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.
