*Company Information: *This position reports to the Executive Director for the North Dakota State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors, which is a regulatory Board appointed by the Governor of North Dakota.

The ability to apply laws and administrative code as they relate to complaints and investigations.

The skill in conducting and analyzing basic research and communicating results.
*Duties: *This position is the principal staffer in the Board’s compliance activities.
The incumbent will begin the investigation process for all written complaints from members of the public, self-reporters, or from the Board regarding potential violations of statutes and/or rules.
Types, proofs, and finalizes letters, memos, narratives, websites, vouchers, reports, and other official forms that relate to complaints and investigations.
Researches missing information on documents.
Drafts formal and informal responses to routine inquiries and complaints.
Coordinates the internal audits of continuing education.
Prepares the read-ahead material for the legal and investigative committee meetings to ensure members are fully aware of each case\\complaint\\inquiry.
*Minimum Requirement:* Applicants must have a minimum of two years of experience in the KSAs listed above.
No college/university degree is required.
An Associates degree in business or criminal science is preferred.
*Salary Range:* $40,000 - $47,000 (depends on experience)
