Primary Job Functions:
Responsible for the repair and maintenance of semi-trucks and trailers, dump trucks, ready-mix trucks, and various machinery.
Must diagnose, inspect, repair, change, and determine the cause of failure of defective equipment components, sub-components, and systems of the equipment.
Drain oils, change filters, and take accurate oil samples.
Able to use computers to order parts and research repair procedures.
Be able to work independently and assist other technicians when required.
Excellent communication skills
Must be self-motivated.
Minimum Experience:
• Two-year technical degree in the field and/or equivalent heavy equipment/truck experience required.
