*Job Description:* As a Garbage Truck Driver at Eco Sanitation, you will play a crucial role in our mission to promote eco-friendly waste management practices.
You will be responsible for operating our specialized garbage trucks to collect, transport, and dispose of waste materials efficiently and safely.
Your dedication to safety, attention to detail, and commitment to environmental responsibility will be key in our efforts to protect the environment.
*Key Responsibilities:* * Operate garbage trucks to pick up and transport waste materials along assigned routes.
* Follow established safety procedures and guidelines to ensure the safety of yourself and others.
* Inspect and maintain the condition of the truck and its equipment to ensure proper functioning.
* Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate pickups and resolve any issues.
* Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations related to waste disposal.
* Maintain accurate records of waste collection and disposal activities.
* Participate in regular training and safety meetings.
*Qualifications:* * Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) Class A with a clean driving record.
* Previous experience as a garbage truck driver or similar role is preferred.
* Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with customers professionally.
* Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects.
* Flexibility to work early mornings and overtime as needed.
* Knowledge of local waste disposal regulations is a plus.
